Day 1: Arrive in Tokyo

Arrival in Tokyo. Meet your Japanese driver at the airport. Group transfer to the hotel by shuttle.
Check-in after 16:00 (early check-in upon request and for an additional fee).

Day 2: Tour "Tokyo Yesterday and Today"

09:00 Meet your Russian-speaking guide in the hotel lobby.
Type of transport: public (if there are more than 15 participants, it will be replaced by a chartered one).
Visit one of the oldest landscape parks in the city, Koishikawa Korakuen. The park was built at the very beginning of the medieval Edo period by the Mito clan, who were related to the ruling Tokugawa dynasty. The traditional Japanese garden design recreates famous landscapes in miniature using ponds, stones, trees and artificial hills. The garden is beautiful at any time of year. From mid-February to March, you can admire the plum blossoms, and by the end of March, the beautiful sakura blossoms. Extraordinary beauty of early flowering weeping cherries grow at the gates of the garden.
Next, you will have a photo stop at the famous Nijubashi Bridge, an architectural monument of the Meiji era near the park of the imperial palace. Transfer to the historical district of Asakusa.

13:00 Lunch at a local restaurant.
Visit to the Senso-ji Buddhist Temple. Walk around the Asakusa district. Here you can buy traditional souvenirs and Japanese delicacies on the Nakamise-dori shopping street, and within walking distance on the river bank is Sumida Park, where about 400 sakura trees are planted.
15:00 Participation in a traditional Japanese tea ceremony - the master of the ceremony conducts a demonstration of tea preparation, and then guests are given the opportunity to try making real matcha tea themselves.
16:10 Boarding a boat from the pier in Asakusa, transfer to the Odaiba shopping and entertainment district, located on an artificial island in Tokyo Bay. Walk around Odaiba, where you will see the Statue of Liberty, the 18-meter Gundam robot.
18:30 Return to the hotel.

Day 3: Free day

Free time in Tokyo.

Day 4: Excursion to Fuji-Hakone area with a visit to a hot spring.

Transfer to Osaka. Check out of the hotel with luggage
08:00 meet the guide in the hotel lobby.

Transport type: public (for groups of more than 10 people - chartered).
Transfer to the Fuji-Hakone area. Visit to the Shinto shrine - Hakone Shrine. One of the most recognizable landscapes of this shrine is the red gate - torii, which stands in the crystal clear waters of the lake.
12:00 Lunch at a local restaurant (Japanese cuisine).
13:00 Visit to the natural mineral spring onsen. Hot baths inside the ryokan and in the fresh air will allow you to experience the delights of a traditional Japanese holiday.
*Please note, people with tattoos are not allowed to visit the onsen
15:10 Walk along Lake Ashi on a stylized pirate ship, from which you can enjoy the picturesque landscape.
*Due to weather conditions, Mount Fuji may not be visible.

Visit the Sekisho Outpost Museum, founded on the site of a former border outpost on the Tokaido road, where you will feel the flavor of the Edo period. The museum recreates the premises, barracks, stables and much more.
See-off for the train to Osaka at Odawara Station. 18:07-20:27 Odawara st – Shin-Osaka st, Shinkansen Hikari 653
The guide will issue train tickets in advance. Independent transfer to Shin-Osaka Station, without accompaniment.
Self-check-in at the hotel near Shin-Osaka Station.

Day 5: Kyoto City Tour

09:00 Meet your guide at your hotel lobby. Transfer to Kyoto (1 hour).
Transport type: charter

A sightseeing tour of Kyoto, the center of Japanese civilization for a thousand years. The most popular attractions of Japan, many of which are listed as UNESCO World Heritage Sites, are here.
10:30-11:30 You will visit Fushimi Inari Shrine, an important Shinto shrine famous for its thousands of bright red torii gates that adorn the covers of guidebooks and became a popular attraction largely thanks to the movie "Memoirs of a Geisha". This is one of the most beautiful places to visit in Kyoto.
Next, you will visit Kiyomizu-dera Temple, the main pavilion of which stands on high wooden stilts on a hillside. This stunning view, complemented by numerous sakura trees, is the calling card of the city. You will also walk along the historical street of the Higashiyama district with the most popular view from Instagram.

13:30-14:30 Lunch (buffet).
Visit to the world-famous Golden Pavilion - Kinkakuji. In the garden of the pavilion there is a pond "Mirror Lake". The reflection of the Golden Pavilion in the waters of the pond creates a delightful sight.
For trips on 03/09, 03/16, 04/13, 04/20, visit to the Ryoanji Temple, famous for its garden of 15 stones. Its mysterious beauty evokes various associations. For some, these are mountain peaks among the clouds, and for others - islands in the endless expanses of the ocean. No matter which side you look from, each time you will see something new for yourself, but you will never see all the stones together.
For the trips on 23.03, 30.03, 06.04, a walk along the "Philosopher's Path" - a path along the canal, framed by sakura trees, which during the flowering season create a picturesque tunnel. The path received its name thanks to the Japanese philosopher Kitaro Nishida. Along the path there are historical buildings and temples, which creates a special atmosphere of ancient Kyoto.

Day 6: Free day in Osaka

Free time in Osaka.

Day 7: Free day in Osaka, return to Tokyo.

Check out of the hotel before 10:00. Free time in Osaka. Independent transfer to Tokyo by train, unaccompanied (2.5 hours)

Day 8: End of the tour

Check out from the hotel before 10:00. Meet the driver at the entrance of the hotel. Group transfer to the airport by shuttle.
