Salt therapy is an effective method of non-specific treatment of bronchopulmonary apparatus. However salt treatment may be indicated in some cases and contra-indicated in others.
Indications for assigning therapy:

  • Bronchial asthma stage 1; infection-allergic and atopic type; mild, moderate, and severe degrees.
  • Chronic obstructive bronchitis and chronic pneumonia of 1-2 degrees in remission phase.
  • Chronic bronchitis with asthmatic components.
